FlowPresso
FDA-Cleared Class II Medical Device
FlowPresso combines cyclic compression, far-infrared heat, and deep pressure therapy to stimulate the lymphatic and venous systems. This triple-modality approach reduces post-operative swelling, supports detoxification, and down-regulates the sympathetic nervous system to promote recovery.
- Reduces post-surgical swelling and inflammation
- Enhances lymphatic drainage and detoxification
- Promotes relaxation and nervous system regulation
A pilot trial presented at Sports & Exercise New Zealand reported that 92% of participants experienced improved sleep quality, with up to 63% reporting reduced stress.
Joovv Red Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation — 660nm Red & 850nm Near-Infrared
Medical-grade device delivering targeted red (660nm) and near-infrared (850nm) wavelengths that are absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria. This stimulates ATP production, modulates reactive oxygen species, increases nitric oxide for improved circulation, and reduces key inflammatory markers.
- Accelerates wound healing and cellular repair
- Reduces inflammation and oxidative stress
- Supports collagen production and skin health
An umbrella review of 15 meta-analyses encompassing 200+ randomized controlled trials and 9,000+ participants confirmed PBM efficacy for pain reduction, improved disability outcomes, and reduced fatigue.
NanoVi
Bio-Identical Signaling for Cellular Repair
NanoVi generates a specific bio-identical signal embedded in a humidified airstream that influences cellular water properties, supporting proper protein folding. Correctly folded proteins are essential for enzymatic activity, DNA repair, and antioxidant defense — helping cells counteract oxidative stress damage.
- Supports cellular repair mechanisms post-surgery
- Enhances antioxidant enzyme activity by 18–45%
- Improves immune response and recovery from physical stress
Research at the N.M. Emanuel Institute showed 18–45% improvement in antioxidant enzyme activity. A University of Vienna study found 16.9% higher monocyte counts in athletes using NanoVi after strenuous exercise.
Summit to Sea Hyperbaric Chamber
Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) — Up to 1.3 ATA
FDA-registered mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber manufactured in the USA. Patients breathe concentrated oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure (up to 1.3 ATA), allowing significantly more oxygen to dissolve into blood plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and tissues — beyond what hemoglobin alone can carry.
- Accelerates post-surgical recovery through elevated tissue oxygenation
- Reduces inflammation and supports angiogenesis
- Enhances immune function and detoxification
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is well-established in medical literature for wound healing, with documented benefits for tissue oxygenation, new blood vessel formation, and immune support.
Human Regenerator
Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) Technology
A full-body wellness device that delivers a gentle stream of ionized particles — including static charge, negatively charged ions, and free electrons — using Cold Atmospheric Plasma technology. This non-invasive, touchless therapy restores electrical balance at the cellular level, reduces oxidative stress, and activates cellular repair processes.
- Cellular regeneration and oxidative stress reduction
- Restores electrical balance at the cellular level
- Non-invasive and touchless — patients relax during treatment
A clinical trial evaluating the Human Regenerator Power Jet device is registered on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07279272), reflecting growing biomedical research interest in CAP technology.

GLP-1 Agonists & 'Ozempic Face'
Dr. Whitfield has discussed this topic extensively on shows and podcasts. This resource provides a scientifically grounded overview of GLP-1 agonists, their effects on facial volume, and what patients should consider.
From Dr. Whitfield: This is one of the most important conversations in aesthetic medicine right now. Patients deserve clear, data-driven information — not marketing hype — before making decisions that affect their health and appearance.
What Are GLP-1 Agonists?
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonists — including semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) — are medications originally developed for type 2 diabetes management. They work by mimicking the GLP-1 hormone, which regulates appetite, slows gastric emptying, and improves insulin sensitivity. Their dramatic weight loss effects have led to widespread off-label use for weight management.
The "Ozempic Face" Phenomenon
"Ozempic face" refers to the gaunt, aged facial appearance that can result from rapid weight loss — particularly the loss of facial fat pads that provide youthful volume and structure. When patients lose significant weight quickly, the face often loses volume disproportionately, leading to hollowed cheeks, deepened nasolabial folds, under-eye hollowing, and an overall deflated appearance.
This is not unique to GLP-1 medications — any rapid weight loss can cause similar effects. However, the speed and magnitude of weight loss with these medications makes facial volume loss more pronounced and more common than with traditional weight loss approaches.
What Patients Should Know
Facial fat loss from rapid weight loss is often irreversible without intervention — the body does not selectively restore facial volume when weight stabilizes.
The rate of weight loss matters. Slower, more controlled weight loss gives skin and soft tissues time to adapt, potentially reducing the severity of facial volume changes.
Patients considering GLP-1 therapy should discuss the potential for facial volume loss with their physician before starting treatment — not after changes have already occurred.
Both surgical (fat transfer) and non-surgical approaches can address volume loss, but prevention through informed decision-making is always preferable to correction.
Nutritional support, protein intake, and resistance training during GLP-1 therapy can help preserve lean mass and may mitigate some facial changes.
Addressing Volume Loss
For patients who have already experienced facial volume loss — whether from GLP-1 medications, natural aging, or other causes — there are evidence-based approaches to restore a natural, healthy appearance. Fat transfer, in particular, uses the patient's own tissue to restore volume with results that look and feel natural. Dr. Whitfield has extensive experience with fat transfer procedures and can discuss whether this approach is appropriate during a consultation.
